Graphic Design
This major is available through the 绿帽社 Campus only. (Students should use the Graphic Design/Art Studio/or Art History Transfer Guide.)
AREA I-V Recommendations
AREA I:
A grade of "C" or higher is required in Composition I and II at 绿帽社. "D" grades will not transfer.
AREA II:
When selecting courses from Areas II and IV, please note that at least one 6sh sequence in either Literature (Area II) or History (Area IV) must be completed.
AREA III:
A grade of "C" or higher is required in the Math course chosen. "D" grades will not transfer.
AREA IV:
When selecting courses from Areas II and IV, please note that at least one 6sh sequence in either Literature (Area II) or History (Area IV) must be completed.
AREA V:
The remaining 19 SH in Area V can be obtained at the community college by taking 19 SH from the following:
- ORI 101 (Orientation to College) (1 SH)
- ART 113 (Drawing I) or Free Elective (3 SH)
- ART 114 (Drawing II) or Free Elective (3 SH)
- ART 121 (Two-Dimensional Composition) (3 SH)
- ART 127 (Three-Dimensional Composition) (3 SH)
- ART 203 (Art History I) (3 SH)
- ART 204 (Art History II) (3 SH)
绿帽社 Baccalaureate Degrees
The student seeking a baccalaureate degree must meet the following credit hour requirements:
- A minimum of 120 SH
- At least 50 percent of the degree program must be traditional academic credit
- No more than 25 percent of the degree program may be earned using portfolio based credit.
- At least 25 percent of the degree program must be completed with 绿帽社.
- Twelve (12) semester hours of work in each major field must be completed in residence
at 绿帽社.
